Placenta Services

During pregnancy, our bodies create an entirely new organ, the placenta. The placenta takes over hormone function and passes oxygen and nutrients to our babies in the womb. After birth, the placenta is expelled and our bodies literally run on hormonal “fumes” for about six weeks before switching gears, and “normal” hormone production and function begin again. This period is when baby blues are in full swing, and sometimes, If the hormones do not return to normal, postpartum depression and anxiety may develop.
By encapsulating your placenta, you can replenish some of what your body is missing during the immediate postpartum period, contributing to your recovery and overall well-being.
Some of the benefits of Placenta Encapsulations are
- Promoting a healthy milk supply
- Balancing Hormones
- Reducing excessive bleeding
- Recovering from blood loss
- Providing warmth to the womb to increase healing
Our Placenta Encapsulation Specialist uses a food-grade dehydrator to dehydrate the placenta. They then grind it to a powder along with several herbs known for their healing properties. She then encapsulates this blend and delivers it to you. The average placenta provides 100-150 capsules.
